Why Getting Fitness Obsessed Is Actually a Really Bad Thing And Is Hurting You

 Everybody should be working out and living a fitness lifestyle, but there are some mistakes with fitness that can lead to very bad things.  Even if you think you hate fitness now, when you get into the habit… you are going to love it.  When I say you will love your fitness, rather than being upset that you have to go workout, you will now be mad that you missed one. 

 And that’s how things can go south.   It’s possible that you can workout too much and this is actually a condition called overtraining.   Overtraining is really about the lack of rest and recuperation your give your body. If it can’t regenerate itself then it will get sick quickly. 

 If you are working out like you should be then you are probably doing a lot of weight training and that causes small tears in your muscles, a place for new muscle to grow.   However, if you’re overtraining then you are not giving your body enough time to build new muscle and you are continuing to tear your lean muscle mass down.   So you’re body can’t keep up with the damage your are giving it and it just gets weaker and weaker. 

This can cause sickness, depression, broken bones, mood swings, and all sorts of really negative side affects.  It should become very clear that rest is vital to successfully losing weight and getting the body you want.  But if you have great programs that guide you on using weight training for women then you should not worry about anything.

 When it comes to rest, the ideal time period is a full 48 hour period between weight training days.  That typically means one full days rest.  And hopefully you are doing full body exercises so going to the gym everyday isn’t even an option.  This is optimal for you because that really means you only have to workout three times a week to fit your exercises to lose weight in, which should be easy. 

 So make it a big effort to get good amounts of rest and watch our for overtraining.
